This is a vocabulary organizer that alligns with the McGraw Hill Wonders Reading Series. This vocabulary organizer correlates with the reading story from Unit 2, Week 3, "The Boy Who Drew Birds".

This vocabulary organizer includes the definition of the words, a place for students to create their own definition, draw a picture to represent the word, and a sentence using the word from the story to help students use context clues to identify the term's meaning. Each of these activities are aligned with Marzano's vocabulary instructional strategies.

The vocabulary organizer has been created in power point. This will allow you to display it and complete it with the entire class. I do this weekly with my vocabulary organizer as I am introducing the words. It is a great way to keep all of my students engaged and participating while we fill in our organizer.

I hope you enjoy these products. Please be on the lookout for more products related to the Wonders Series. Please remember to leave feedback! Thank you!
