This Bingo game contains an assortment of common core math questions for 5th grade. The topics include fractions, decimals, volume, coordinate plane, ordering fractions and decimals, division, place value, pie charts, and units of measurement. This is a fun way to review for the BIG TEST or to begin 6th grade. My kids love playing bingo math. They forget that they are reviewing and just have fun.
I usually allow my students to work in pairs on the bingo games. They both get bingo cards, but if one person get a bingo they both win a prize. This encourages students to work together and help each other. I have found they learn a lot more by having their partner teach them a topic than from me standing at the board.
There are enough problems to extend the game past the straight line. I usually start with a straight line, then four corners, then big picture frame, and finally black out. This give a bunch of students a chance to win and allows me to review more concepts.
I have included a preview for you to see what the questions look like. Prefilled bingo cards are in pdf format and the game is in a powerpoint for ease of use.
I hope you enjoy it!!!
