*Pumpkin Number Detectives using 10 Frames-Copy these pumpkins on different color paper. Then hang around the room. The students need to find them and count the circles in the ten frame. Write the matching number on the line and color the pumpkin the same color as the pumpkin hanging.
*Pumpkin Roll A Number- use dice/die with dots and have students color the pumpkin with that number
*Dotted Pumpkins- roll a dice with a numbers and put that many dots on the pumpkin and write the number
*Race to the Top- Roll the dice and color in the square to see which number reaches the top first
*I See Pumpkins Book with numbers 6,7,8,9,10- students color, cut, and glue the correct amount of pumpkins on each page of the book
*Pumpkin Number Match- cut and paste activity where students must match the pumpkin with the correct number Ex) 6- matches to pumpkin with 6 dots or a number word 6 with six
*Scarecrow and Pumpkin Number Sort- Sorting Activity where students use lay out the scarecrows with numbers 6-10 and they must match the pumpkins to the correct scarecrow. For example, scarecrow has the number 10 on it so student must find the pumpkin with the word ten, ten frame with dots, tally marks, and triangles- each scarecrow has 4 different pumpkin matches which is GREAT because activity can be differentiated depending on the level of students
