This resource is based on the 6 Traits of Writing that I use with my 4th Grade class in Ontario, Canada, and my writing tutoring students. This can be used as a Center or to review the 6 Traits of good writing with developing writers.
Materials: Game board, player pieces (sequins, coins, pompoms, etc.), dice.
Directions: 2-4 players take turns rolling a die and travelling from the start that many spaces. For paces with a card name, take one card from that pile (Yellow, Organization, or Convention cards) and answer the question. Students might answer orally or record their answers on a record sheet or mini-whiteboard. First player to the end wins! Blank cards are included if you’d like to modify the questions to fit your current needs.
