6.EE.6 Writing Expressions - Single Variable
Was having trouble updating the original file.
This has a quiz added.

Ideal for observation lesson in terms of components. Took me 3 years to get this right :)

Two lessons
Two sets of corresponding practice problems
Two sets of exit tickets
Two sets of homework (designed to be front and back for both lessons to save paper, or to be printed separately)
Worked out solutions to all (you'll see my strategy that i called an 'expression bubble')

Lesson 1
-2 lesson problems where students write a division and a multiplication expression. Students are expected to identify and define the variable and should have prerequisite knowledge of independent and dependent variables (although this could be a good time to learn this as well)
-4 practice problems that follow the lesson
-Exit ticket modeled after lesson
-4 homework problems

Lesson 2
-2 lesson problems that are step up in rigor
-4 practice problems that follow the lesson
-Exit ticket modeled after lesson
-4 homework problem

Quiz (this was one of my favorite quizzes to write :)
2 multiple choice
4 short answer
1 extended response
