Kids love to get out of their seats and move around. This is a fun activity that allows them to do just that and still work on math.
How to play: Hang all the posters in random order around the room. Students either work alone or with a partner and start with any poster. They solve the question on that poster and then look for the answer they found (which is on a different poster somewhere in the room). When they find the answer they were looking for, they then solve the question from that poster and so on and so forth.
The questions fit the 6th grade geometry domain (area of triangles, area of parallelograms, area of compound/composite figures, surface area, nets, and volume of rectangular prisms)
