Two lesson plans that cover comparing and ordering rational numbers on a number line and expressing the absolute value of a rational number.
Our lesson plans are in an outline format and are not intended to be step by step directions on what to do during a lesson.
As we worked to integrate all of the wonderful technology available to enrich our students’ math experience, we found these types of lesson plans to be the most useful as all of our resources are in one place and only one click away.
These lesson plans, taken straight out of our unit, contain instructional and free worksheet links for Common Core standard 6.NS.7. Most lesson plans also include student activities like manipulatives and/or games to better help the student grasp the concept. Specific objectives are given for every math concept in the standard, and the internet links are aligned to these objectives.
** Identical lesson plans are found in our Unit 6. **
We hope you enjoy the product!
