A spiral review is a continuous review that spirals over the curriculum at hand. This particular review covers all standards in every domain of the sixth grade math common core curriculum. Each page has 10 problems that span over all domains.
How I use this in my classroom:
1) Test Review: I use this as our standardized test prep. I time them and have them work quickly and efficiently through the problems and then we go over them for review.
2) I use this as scoot in my classroom where I cut apart the questions and have them move around the table to complete them.
3) The main way I use this in my classroom is by giving these as a weekly review. I start after the first month of school and use these per week. The students of course have not covered all or many of the standards at his point. The goal for me is to get them thinking, reasoning, and exposing them to vocabulary and terms that they will see as the year goes on. The more we do these as the year goes on, many times the kids know the concepts before I begin to teach them, because we have briefly touched on them at that point already.
There are 24 total weekly reviews included in this set. There are also answer keys included for each week.
