The 6th Grade Math Digital Escape Room Bundle (Volumes 1 and 2) is the perfect engaging activity to review for state testing or to wrap up the end of the year. All you have to do is share the link and the students do the rest! Students will use Google Forms and “escape rooms” in Google Slides to answer mathematical problems in order to unlock the code and move onto the next room. No prep is necessary on your part!

There are 12 “rooms” that students are required to escape. Each room consists of 5 problems for a total of 60 problems.

    Volume 1:

Escape Room #1- Ratios and Rates

Escape Room #2- Fractions, Decimals, and Percentages

Escape Room #3- Multiplying and Dividing Fractions and Mixed Numbers

Escape Room #4- Operations with Decimals

Escape Room #5- Integers and the Coordinate Plane

    Escape Room #6- Expressions

    Volume 2:

    Escape Room #1- Equations

Escape Room #2- Functions and Inequalities

Escape Room #3- Area and Perimeter

Escape Room #4- Volume and Surface Area

    Escape Room #5- Statistical Measures

    Escape Room #6- Statistical Displays

In addition, the following is included:

    • Link to digital resource

    • Hard copies of the escape rooms

    • Work organizers and answer keys

Use ratio reasoning to convert measurement units; manipulate and transform units appropriately when multiplying or dividing quantities.
Find a percent of a quantity as a rate per 100 (e.g., 30% of a quantity means 30/100 times the quantity); solve problems involving finding the whole, given a part and the percent.
Solve unit rate problems including those involving unit pricing and constant speed. For example, if it took 7 hours to mow 4 lawns, then at that rate, how many lawns could be mowed in 35 hours? At what rate were lawns being mowed?
Use ratio and rate reasoning to solve real-world and mathematical problems, e.g., by reasoning about tables of equivalent ratios, tape diagrams, double number line diagrams, or equations.
Understand the concept of a unit rate 𝘢/𝘣 associated with a ratio 𝘢:𝘣 with 𝘣 ≠ 0, and use rate language in the context of a ratio relationship. For example, “This recipe has a ratio of 3 cups of flour to 4 cups of sugar, so there is 3/4 cup of flour for each cup of sugar.” “We paid $75 for 15 hamburgers, which is a rate of $5 per hamburger.”
