Summer is in the air…the kids are getting as anxious and so are the teachers! After state testing, my main goal is to keep the learning going and the kids on task. I like to use this time to review concepts that will be helpful when my students begin 7th grade math in the fall.
In this packet, you will find 5 printables that are ready to be copied and handed out! I give my students plenty of opportunity to work with calculators during the last 2 weeks of school. Several of these printables will allow your students the chance to learn how to use the fraction function on the scientific calculators. My students feel so smart when they discover new possibilities with the calculators.
The printables focus on some of the Oklahoma PASS objectives for 6th grade. If you follow CCSS or have different standards/objectives, these activities could possibly work for 5th grade as a 6th grade prep. However you decide to use it, I hope you find these pages useful.
*Algebraic Equations (with integers)
