This is an interactive game that is broken into 5 categories- Number Sense, Computation and Estimation, Measurement and Geometry, Probability and Statistics, and Patterns, Functions and Algebra. The game is made in Power Point and consists of 25 questions. The directions to the game are:
.)Split the class up into 3-4 groups.
.)Have a group pick the first category.
.)Have all of the kids in the class answer the question. Whiteboards work great for this activity.
.)When you notice that the class is ready, have the kids hold up their boards.
.)Click the “ANSWER” button for the answer.
.)Give points to every group that got the question correct.
.) Click on the “HOME” button to take you back to the screen with the categories. You will notice that the previous question’s point value has disappeared. This makes it easy for you to see what questions have been chosen.
.)Keep playing the game until you would like to stop, or when you use up all of the questions.
.)Add up the points for each team to determine a winner.
