This is a fantastic 6th Grade Common Core Statistics and Probability Objectives Bulletin Board and Journal Set where you will find several different versions for your math journals depending on your needs and desires. I have included a one page portrait version that has all of the items included. I have then created a half page version that will copy two to a page as I prefer that size for my math journals. I have then included a full size poster for each of the objectives and a cover page as well. There are several difference versions of some objectives as they can be split apart into separate lessons or combined into one. Be sure to look at the rest of the math objectives and journals in my store!

Some of the objectives include:
 I can explain why numerical data and statistical questions need to involve variability.
 I can make and analyze a dot plot, line graph, or histogram.
 I can locate the maximum and minimum of a data set.
 I can define and find the mean, median, mode, quartiles, and range of a set of data.
 I can compare and contrast measures of center and measures of variability.
 I can compare and contrast the similarities and differences between the mean, median, and mode of a data set.
 I can make and interpret a box and whisker plot.
 I can find the interquartile range of a set of numerical data.
 I can define and find the Mean Absolute Deviation of a set of data.
 I can compare and contrast the similarities and differences between range, interquartile range, and mean absolute deviation.
 I can describe data as symmetrical or asymmetrical.
 I can describe the overall shape of data by locating examples of peaks, clusters, gaps, and outliers.
 Given the mean, I can find a missing data value.
 I can create a data set to fit given constraints or can alter a data set to match new specifications.
