Print out and laminate card slides. Print enough so that students can work in groups of 3-4.
Print one Key to use later.
Cut out (or have a volunteer cut out) individual cards from slides 10-15.
Shuffle and place them in an envelope with the answer pages from slides 4-9.
Project directions slide or print it out and place it at a station.
Break the class into groups of 4-5, each with their own envelope. Alternatively, use this as as a station activity and place enough envelopes there for students to work in groups of 4-5. Students at each station should have paper and pencil for their calculations.
Each plot has a corresponding median, number of observations, plot type, and raw data.
Have groups race to finish sorting first! If they think they finish, have them check with you and guide them through corrections. Use the Key slide you printed to help you.
