Product Description
Phonogram flash cards for use with any phonics program OR independently! Instructions and guidance included. Easy to use! Just print double-sided on card stock, laminate (optional), cut, and use! Phonograms on the front are in clear manuscript font. Dots are added to remind students of how many sounds the phonogram makes [i.e. "a" has 3 sounds: /a/ (as in at), /A/ (as in ate), and /ah/ (as in father)].

Designed to be used with Spalding's Writing Road to Reading, Spell to Write and Read, or any other Orton-Gillingham program, but could be used to supplement any reading program by offering evidence-based phonics instruction. These flash cards can be used to teach children as young as 2, but they work equally well with ELL and students with learning disabilities. They also work great for adults who want to learn how to read, because the cards are clear and clean with no childish images on them. Nothing has shown better results for all learners than intensive, systematic phonics!

Save money by printing your cards at home! These cards are significantly cheaper than the brand-named cards that require extensive teacher-training to use. These cards include teaching tips on the cards plus a full directions page to guide you through the research-backed teaching strategies. Includes a full page of blank cards to use for your own phonograms or other flash card activities. Help your students read and spell!
