Product Description
Book trailers are a fun and effective way to get middle school students interested in books that they may not otherwise touch! I used them last year when I did an interim in a school where almost no one read on his/her own. Suddenly, there became a waiting list for some titles.

I have been through many, many book trailers posted on YouTube, most of them made by students, and picked the ones that seem most appealing and well done. The links have been converted using safeshare.tv to a format that does away with all advertisements that are attached to YouTube.

There are 73 titles in all—some new; some not so new. The titles range in reading level from 3.3 to 9.0 with the majority being from 4.0-6.9, because the students who read below level are the ones who need the biggest boost. I have included 20 of this year’s middle school Battle of the Books titles. The length of each video is listed to help you with planning. They range from thirty seconds to a little over three minutes with most of them being about a minute.

I have included a list sorted by reading levels with the Safe Share links attached and a list sorted by authors to make them easy to locate on your shelves. There is also a slide for each title with a QR code so you can print them off and use them with students in centers using QR readers. Sort and re-sort them any way that works for you in your library!
