I use concept cards (just like vocabulary cards) for math to help students with not only definitions, but examples. Students are responsible for turning in groups of cards at assigned dates based on the unit being studied. The concept goes onto the front of the card and their definition and examples go on the back. Having students write out the explanations in a neat, colorful, organized way helps them to remember! Save as a bundle in their INB pocket, or separately to use as a study tool. Great for sharing at end of the year open house.
