This lesson begins by reviewing some big ideas and terminology

• Proportion
• Rate of Change
• Proportional Relationships
• The Constant of Proportionality

Students will learn about how to find the Constant of Proportionality, and then use this to be able to write equations to represent proportional relationships

Students will practice solving these types of problems in various contexts and activities until mastery. By the end of the lesson, students will be able to determine if a set of rates have a proportional relationship and how to write equations for those relationships
