This is a station activity that reviews ratios and proportions using cooperative learning and different learning styles. I have included a formal lesson plan along with all the materials and directions needed for each station.
Station #1: Students will be answering NYS questions (from assessments and modules on engageny.org) on proportional and non-proportional relationships.
Station #2: Students will be given pictures and they have to work with a partner to create word problems, tables, graphs and equations based on the picture.
Station #3: Students will be given a table with one coordinate point filled in and they must complete the table to be either proportional or non proportional (they will have to explain their process). They will also be given a graph with one coordinate point and they will have to complete the graph and a table to represent either a proportional or non-proportional relationship.
Station #4: They will also be given an equation and they have to write a word problem and create a table and graph from the equation.
