Description

I am excited to introduce my bundle of 17 sets of task cards. This bundle contains a total of 418 seventh grade math task cards. Task cards are an amazing way to differentiate in your class. They are one of the many teaching tools that I find very effective when it comes to reinforcement and assessment. They are also an effective alternative for student worksheets that may seem to be boring at times. There are many different ways you can choose to use task cards in your classroom. I often tape them around the room and have students do a gallery walk with a partner. I also have students work in small groups to answer all of the questions in the set. To preserve resources, I laminate the cards and put them on a binder ring so that I can use the same sets year after year.

Includes a wide variety of questions that will push students to apply their knowledge. Great way to review and ensure students have a deep understanding of the material they are learning in class. In some sets, students will check their answers by completing the riddle sheets as they work. Using these task cards as a group activity and competition is a great way to motivate your students, and keep them engaged. Easy to differentiate by eliminating the high-level questions for students who struggle. Perfect for end of unit review, and end of year review.

I have used the similar figures task cards with my students and I choose a selection of them to complete based on difficulty. They are challenged by some of these cards, but I provide them with an answer bank to help guide them...I usually create my own, smaller answer bank to assist them through the problems.
