This is a Middle School project is designed for the 7th grade Louisiana Social Studies student. Each of the ten research items is pulled from the Louisiana grade level expectations and thus is aligned to Louisiana State standards. The project can be used as a summative assessment or a formative assessment depending on how the teacher chooses to assign it. Assign one item a week and it is formative or assign the whole project to be due at the end of the quarter and it becomes summative. Also, this can be used as differentiation if it is assigned differently to students within the same class. This is 2nd Quarter Grade Level Expections aligned.
