Howdy,

Do you need a set of assessments for Standards Based Grading? This set of seven 6-question assessments will help you determine who has mastered 7th grade geometric measurement. These printable assessments will give you plenty of questions to figure out where each student is in climbing the ladder to standard mastery.

These 42 questions will help you and the students see how much they know and are able to do. This set of questions has a few word problems and also include geometric shapes and figures saving you LOTS of time.

The download has a scale/ladder for these standards: 4.MD.A.3, 5.NF.B.4b, 5.MD.C.4, 5.MD.C.5, 6.G.A.1, 6.G.A.2, 6.G.A.4, 7.G.B.4, and 7.G.B.6. Each assessment has 6 questions with a corresponding level of achievement. These questions have been carefully crafted so that memorization is not a factor in determining mastery. And they include the geometric diagram.

These are also formatted for easy scoring. Print and go! The answer keys are included.

This is one of the Standards Based Grading products for 7th grade. I am writing them at the cluster level. This should make the process of assessing the standards manageable for you and your students.

Solve real-world and mathematical problems involving area, volume and surface area of two- and three-dimensional objects composed of triangles, quadrilaterals, polygons, cubes, and right prisms.
Know the formulas for the area and circumference of a circle and use them to solve problems; give an informal derivation of the relationship between the circumference and area of a circle.
Represent three-dimensional figures using nets made up of rectangles and triangles, and use the nets to find the surface area of these figures. Apply these techniques in the context of solving real-world and mathematical problems.
Find the volume of a right rectangular prism with fractional edge lengths by packing it with unit cubes of the appropriate unit fraction edge lengths, and show that the volume is the same as would be found by multiplying the edge lengths of the prism. Apply the formulas 𝘝 = 𝘭 𝘸 𝘩 and 𝘝 = 𝘣 𝘩 to find volumes of right rectangular prisms with fractional edge lengths in the context of solving real-world and mathematical problems.
Find the area of right triangles, other triangles, special quadrilaterals, and polygons by composing into rectangles or decomposing into triangles and other shapes; apply these techniques in the context of solving real-world and mathematical problems.
