Use this tool to analyze data collected from the 8 Check-ins point sheet (separate download), or purchase the 8 Check-ins bundle for a reduced price. To use this tool, you will need to input the points the student earned in each cell. The tool will automatically add up the total points earned, and will show average points earned by period and category. (Please note that some of the averaging functions will only work if there are no blank entries.) To add more blank grids to enter more data, simply copy a blank grid and paste it below, making sure to line up columns. You can note the date for each entry on the upper left cell of each grid, and you can note the period or class in the cells across the top of each grid.
My recommendation is that after one quarter, or after a few weeks, create a new sheet by copying the grid along with all of the cells that show averages, and pasting on a new sheet.
