This is a Solve 'n Pass activity that gives students a great deal of practice with finding the rate of change and initial value of a graph with varying intervals. Students use the rate of change and initial value to write an equation for the graph.
Solve 'n Pass is an exciting and engaging way to give students a high level of structure in analyzing one another’s work and coaching each other effectively. You will have 100% engagement and meet all students at their instructional level!
Perhaps the best part of this set is that all graphs have a context. Instead of finding the slope and y-intercept of meaningless graphs, students must interpret the rate of change and initial values to determine the story that the graph is telling.
Included in this product:
•Eight contextual graphs that have varying intervals
•Teacher guide for cooperative learning
