Students will be given review living vs nonliving material but introduced with the Biotic vs Abiotic vocabulary.This will lead into biotic and abiotic limiting factors.From there they will delve into the organization of the levels of the environment.They will also get a look into how limiting factors can affect food chains and food webs which will be a Segway into the next unit.
Goals/Student will :
o Understand the difference between Biotic, Abiotic, Biotic Factor, and Abiotic Factor
o Understand what an organism, population, community, ecosystem, and biosphere are.
o Understand the basics of Food Chains?
o Do I understand what a food web is and what would occur if part of it was removed?
