This packet walks students through rational numbers being numbers you can write as ratios. It specifically focuses on how to write terminating decimals as ratios, in this case fractions. There is 1 fully completed example with steps and 3 more with blanks to be filed in. Answer keys are included for these charts. Once students understand the scaffolded steps, there are 1 practice problems Students are directed to complete #1-5 and then check their answers. If they have mistakes, they are directed to use the examples to determine their mistake(s) and then complete #6-10. If they are all correct, they are directed to move on to the next assignment/activity.
