PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This packet walks students through rational numbers vs irrational numbers and how to classify decimals. There are 3 fully completed examples and 5 more with blanks to be filed in in the Guided Practice. Answer keys are included for the chart. Once students understand the scaffolded chart and checked their answers, there are 10 practice problems Students are directed to complete #1-5 and then check their answers. If they have mistakes, they are directed to use the examples to determine their mistake(s) and then complete #6-10. If they are all correct, they are directed to move on to the next assignment/activity.
This is perfect for station work or group work. Students who are absent should be able to work on this independently and ask questions as they have them. It can also be completed as a whole group.
