This is a color-coded task on the concept of Finding and Comparing the Volumes of Cylinders, Cones and Spheres.
This is a 6 page team task. In this task students will take turns as "Team Mathematician". Included is are two real world situations and composite volume problems, four real world situations and comparing volume problems, and two real world situations and the space in between volume problems. The students will be required to support their answers and justify their reasoning using academic vocabulary.

Each team member is required to participate regularly throughout the "Team Task" as Team Mathematician. My cooperative learning "Team Tasks" require the students to be actively involved throughout the entire "Team Task". The Role of "Team Mathematician" alternates throughout the "Team Task". My "Team Tasks" are designed to elicit mathematical discourse within the teams.
