These mini-lessons help students with Common Core or LAFS Reading: Literature 8th grade standards RL4, RL5, and RL6. This LOW PREP resource uses the "model-guide-practice" research-based teaching strategy! Each lesson includes suggestions for differentiation, collaborative learning, extension, and a table of contents linked to corresponding pages within the documents.
Because of the way the state of Florida adapted their standards from the CCSS, these lessons ARE appropriate for the standards LAFS.8.RL.2.4, LAFS.8.RL.2.5, and LAFS.8.RL.2.6.
