Description

Middle School Language Arts teachers have a lot on their plates. They have to teach Reading Literature, Reading Informational Texts, Writing, Speaking and Grammar all in one year.

This is why I created a year-long independent grammar study - it helps integrate grammar without taking up class time. Also, the format I created allows students to fly by grammar concepts they prove mastery on and get remedial help for those that challenge them. Each quarter handouts are provided for the students and they have a designated time to complete each practice. At the end of each quarter, a quiz is given to reiterate each grammar rule.

This packet includes nearly everything you need to execute this yearlong grammar study:
-Overview (explaining how the system works)
-Checklist (for you to sign off on when your student proves mastery)
-4 Quizzes (one for each quarter, with previous rules be constantly reviewed)
-4 Answer Keys
-5 Additional Grammar Handouts/Practices
