This 8th Grade Math Sort - Angles and Triangles helps students practice finding missing angles by using their knowledge of properties of triangles and angle relationships! The resource includes four different sorts and has a total of 80 problems! Each sort includes 20 problems.
In this activity, students sort problems into groups based on their answers. Once sorted, the Problem Cards can be flipped over to create a word that needs to be unscrambled. Who doesn't want to find the answers when the result is "awful, messy, spicy, bacon!" This activity works great as a math center! Each of the 16 answer cards has five problem cards that must be sorted underneath the correct answer card. Each set of five problems includes two triangle questions (finding the missing angle), two angle relationship problems (finding the missing angle when a transversal passes through two parallel lines), and one problem that combines triangle and angle relationships.
The product includes 80 Problem Cards that each have a letter on the back. It also includes 16 Answer Cards to sort the problems underneath. Each Answer Card has five corresponding Problem Cards, which can then be flipped over and unscrambled.
Instructions for printing, instructions for use, and an answer key are included!
