8th Grade Math TEKS Shapes and Dilations set includes problems TEKS 8.4A, using similar right triangles to develop an understanding of slope, TEKS 8.4B, graphing proportional relationships connecting unit rate and slope, and TEKS 8.4C, using data from a table or graph to determine the rate of change or slope and y-intercept. This set includes 3 assessments with 4 problems each aligned to the Eighth Grade TEKS. There are 12 total problems!!!
Answer keys and a data form to track student progress are also available. These problems are great for math centers, bellringers, exit tickets, and other types of assessments and checks for understanding. They address eighth grade standards, but teachers can use them to prepare seventh grade for next school year and for eighth grade review.
