Each comic strip activity provides an overview of each historical event and allows students to create their own visuals and captions while using key terms along the way. These resources cover various standards of middle school U.S. History, are fully editable, and have been designed for students to turn a blank piece of paper into an informational resource.
Using comic strips throughout the year will also better prepare students for common core and smarter balanced assessments as they are asked to used academic language and to analyze and visualize historical concepts. Each activity can take anywhere from 1-3 class periods to complete, depending on how many video links are included or how long students are given to create each box before moving on to the next. Each of these unique resources can be downloaded separately, but are offered here at a bundle discount.
