Product Description
We are still in our place value unit on September 11th, so I created an activity with some facts about remembering September 11th and tied in some place value questions. I just teach math but you could easily also tie in a writing prompt using the facts or social studies (citizenship) to the activity too.

This is a front and back page activity containing some facts about the Twin Towers and September 11,2001. It states facts found about the Twin Towers itself and has a few place value questions regarding the facts. The back page contains facts about the planes hitting the towers and the lives lost. It also has place value questions that follow it.

Key included on pg 3

Place value questions include: a few of each: standard, word, and expanded form (converting between them). One question regarding the # of periods when given a #. One elapsed time question.
