A bit of Vatican Propaganda from the 1920's
Complete with stereotypes all to popular at the time.
I rather like old postcards. They show a little bit of history.
I view this as a classic example of propaganda.
Nice examples of a Vatican stamp and post mark. The written text is readable.
The title says: (in Italian) ROMA - Circo Massimo - Ultima prehiera
The original postcard is a print of an etching in a style popular in the printed books up to world war one.
I have decided to charge for these as I feel it will not be printed of or used lightly. Even today 100 years after it was mailed it they can still hurt feelings and start arguments.
Please note: these are very large prints (this one is 600 dpi) and can be resized to taste. Legal sized paper works well I find. The results that I liked best for these is on (like the originals) cheap cardstock.
