Does your fiftieth day of school fall around Halloween? Here is a fun math sheet for your students to use. Students will count the items in each rectangular box, draw tallies representing the objects in each box, count the tallies by 5, and then write the numbers 5-50. Last, they can cut out the rectangular boxes, place them in order, and glue them onto a strip of paper to make crown.
I suggest printing this paper on orange paper and using either purple or black strips of butcher paper for the children to use for their crowns.
This is a single sheet that is available for viewing in the small preview window to the left.
