Product Description
Do you like to go back to the 1950’s for the 50th Day of School? Here is a chart of the numbers 1-50. All sheets in this download are different variations of the same chart. I made it so that it can be used on the 50th day of school, or any time that you may be having a Sock Hop!

One of the variations is to use it in order to make a 50-piece Froot Loop Necklace. Have your student line up the same color of Froot Loops on each line of 10. (The necklace looks better if there is a color difference after each set of 10.) Once the chart is filled, they can start pulling each set of ten off (starting at 1-10), and placing the cereal on a string to make the necklace. I have found that the best type of string to use for cereal necklaces is curling ribbon (it doesn't come apart on the ends like yarn). Also, I have learned to tape one end of the curling ribbon on the table before the student begins to thread the necklace. This prevents the cereal from falling off the other end which causes a lot of frustration!

Another variation is to use a dice and crayons. Roll a dice and color that number onto the 50 Chart. For example, if you roll a 3, you will color the numbers 1-3. If you then roll a 5,you will color numbers 4-8. Change colors each time you roll. Continue to roll the dice and color in numbers until you reach 50!

The last variations of the 1-50 chart is to fill in the missing numbers. I gave you a variety of choices of this so that you can determine which chart would work best for your students...differentiation is the key!

Please download my free preview as it contains everything in this download (minus the black-out lines).
