Rise Up And Reach For The Stars!
When we study about famous African Americans in February during Black History Month, we read books about Harriet Tubman and The Underground Railroad which talk about slavery in the United States. We also discuss how many different types of people have been enslaved in the history of the world, and how slavery is wrong. I made this for my students to be able to see that we are all united even though people’s backgrounds may be different. We are all Americans. We are one.
