Go Fish! One of my favorite games as a kid is now a Base Ten Block game! In this game, students can review Base Ten Blocks from 1-30. While playing Go Fish, students will match the number card with the correct base ten block card. This is a 2-3 player game.
How to play:
Place cards in a basket with the ‘Go Fish!’ side up. Each player receives 5 cards. Player one will ask another player if he/she has a specific card. If the player chosen has the card, he/she will give the card to player one. Player one will then place the pair of cards on the floor in front of him/her. If the chosen player does not have the specific card, he/she will say “Go Fish!” If player one needs to ‘Go Fish!’, he/she will take one card from the ‘Go Fish!’ pile of cards in the basket and add it to the cards in his/her hands. If the card player one chooses from the ‘Go Fish’ pile of cards matches a card in his/her hands, he/she will place the pair of cards on the floor in front of him/her. The winner is the player with the most matches at the end of the game.
