This is a cute craft idea to help your students practice and review their colors. Print the front and back of the crayon box on yellow paper. Have the children write their name on the line, color the box, and cut it out.
Add paste or glue to the rectangles and place the front of the box on top, creating a pocket to hold the crayons. Next, have the children color and cut out the crayons. When the paste or glue is dry have the children place their crayons inside their big crayon box! I like to laminate their crayons and have the children use them as flashcards for home and at school. Someone told me that you can even laminate the whole crayon box, then use an Excto knife to cut the pocket. I have never tried it but let me know if you do! There are 12 crayons in this unit.
