This packet is perfect for any primary classroom who loves to read Robert Munsch books!
Students can create a "photo album" (or scrapbook) of the problems and solutions of the many story books that Munsch has written. Students can draw a picture of themselves as the main character--or you can take students' pictures to cut and add to it!
There are various comprehension worksheets to use with any book. This includes a Venn Diagram, Story Map, Retelling worksheet, writing about the favorite part and looking at pictures to gain more information (standard 1.RL.7)
Then, there is a few pages to have students look and use Vocabulary words. Robert Munsch uses great words throughout his books!
I included a writing prompt for "We Share Everything," "Show and Tell," "The Sandcastle Contest," and "Pigs."
There are a few activities for onomatopoeia--including a poster to help teach the word to students.
There are 3 Math integrated activities for: Mmmm, Cookies, Moira's Birthday and The Sandcastle Contest. I also included a blank survey/graphing worksheet for students to survey the class on which book is their favorite!
Last, I included a few "wrap up" activities for students to write about their favorites from the books---Favorite character, problem, ending and book as well as a page for them to write about what book was their favorite and why. There is also 2 templates to write Mr. Munsch too!
11 essential question posters are included for the different standards that are covered.
