Use the Thanksgiving film, "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving", as a foundation for a Thanksgiving holiday DESCRIPTIVE paragraph. Students will infer and take notes on CHARACTER TRAITS and EVIDENCE while watching the Thanksgiving movie and then see how that information can be transformed into a quality descriptive paragraph. Steps of the process are modeled along the way in order to ensure student success! This makes a great plan for a SUBSTITUTE TEACHER,also!!!
Due to copyright laws, the video is not included; however, check with your school's media specialist or use your own copy! A character gallery slide is also included in which you will need to google your own images of the characters.
