Product Description
Upon reviewing other rounding roller coasters, I felt that the downhill motion on both sides of the roller coaster was counter-intuitive to the concept. In my version, the roller coaster must go uphill if the placing digit is 5 or greater. I provided 4 different versions (one blank) because I know that people have their own terminology for mnemonic devices.
One suggestion is "0 through 4, hit the floor. 5 through 9, let it soar."
Another is "4 or less, let it rest. 5 or more, let it soar."
My students also felt that this version made more sense to them. They suggested that I add a background with mountains, sunsets, clouds, parking lot, other rides, etc. I decided to give them this copy and have them decorate as desired.
