Description

I Wore My Slippers to School and Other Funny Stories is a writing project designed to be fun while providing a structure for your class as they write their stories. This resource will help your students through the writing process and provide guidance as they construct a humorous 4 paragraph narrative. Throughout the use of this resource students are given ample prewriting experiences, prompted to use sequence words/phrases, encouraged to provide descriptive details by paying attention to our five senses, and organize their thoughts into clear paragraphs.

You have the choice of having students write about wearing slippers to school or another funny story, or both if you choose to use this resource twice with the same group! I like to provide kids and teachers with options.
