Looking at the book studies on Tpt was overhelming and amazing! And I said why not create something for Filipino kids to help them appreciate and have a deeper understanding of the language.
I chose the book Naaay! Taaay! By Kristine Canon Book artist is Vanessa Tamayo, Published by Adarna House with family as the theme. This book is intended for students in the early grades, with easy, simple to read Filipino words and sentences. There are worksheets for recalling details, a vocabulary mini book, processing feelings and letter of appreciation.
I have created a unit plan on Filipino Panghalip Panao or personal prounous that’s easy and fun! There are 2 accordion books as introduction to the categories of Panghalip Panao and worksheets on how to use these pronouns.
Activities included are:
Pag-alala ng Detalye (Recalling Details)
Ano ang iyong Mararamdaman Kung..(Sorting Feelings)
Isang Liham (Letter writing)
Panghalip Panao (Personal Pronouns) – Kailanan and Panahunan – 7
