Page 2-6 Students write about their fine, fine school. I made pages 5 and 6 (with spots for names in each box) because when we did this, we cut each square out and placed them around the hall.

Page 22-30 Fine, Fine School Sorting Cards. This is great to do in the beginning of the year whole group. I like to use a pocket chart. We have a great discussion about qualities of a fine, fine school. The blank schools are for your own additions. Students can illustrate (page 30). Keep them around the room as a reminder throughout the year!
Page 31-34 Noun sort—This is great for centers. Students can sort on the sorting sheet and then record on the recording sheet. This is also a good partner activity for the beginning of the year.
Page 35-36 Sentence Scramble and Recording Sheet
Page 37-38 Situation Cards. These are fun to act out. Have the students pick a card, then act out how to act as well as how not to act. They love this! Great discussion starter!
