I made this for my First Grade Math Class’ Standard Board that I am required to have posted in my classroom. I decided that my brain needed a SUPER SIMPLE way to post my Essential Question, Learning Goals, and Scales. I have one page with each Florida First Grade Math Standard that contains all three of those items in one easy to print and hang style.
I am not required to post the standard, but I like to have the standard attached for my benefit as I am planning my lessons. I wrote the standard on the page before each sheet that will be posted on my board when I teach that particular standard.
I plan on copying the standard onto the back of each correlating sheet (the standard is written small on the lower left hand corner of each page). The pages that will be seen by students have the three categories that I am required to post on my board: The Essential Question,Learning Goals, and a Scale for each Standard. You can also print these out for students to use for rating themselves or for you to use to use to keep tabs on how each student is doing. You can write in the Learning Goal’s boxes a student’s scale scores. The grade level expectation is reaching a level 3 on the scale. The level 4 is above what the standards requires. I was playing around with the “look” of the page, and I decided to share another option I came up with that has the scale section in black….choose the style you prefer. Hopefully this will save you some time on your own board.
Please view the mini windows so see the entire download. The only addition are the rest of the First Grade Math Standards for Florida (2017 version). Also known as MAFS.
