Everyone knows that most kids love Halloween and wearing a costume. Many schools don't allow students to wear their costumes to school anymore. This craftivity allows the students to still share their costume with their classmates.
Students draw and color their costume onto the body template, cut, and glue onto a piece of construction paper. They can write the simple "I am" sentence on one of the sentence strips and glue that to the same piece of construction paper.
To make it more challenging, there is another writing prompt paper where students must write more, explaining what their costume is, what they like about it, and why they chose that costume.
There is also a character planning page that can serve multiple purposes. Students can write adjectives about their own character/costume or they can do it for a classmates costume.
