I made this booklet for my own students to use to create “gifts” for their family members for Hanukkah. Print an entire set of coupons….one per student. I have given you the choice of using either the wording “Hanukkah” or “Chanukah”. I have exactly 8 coupons in this booklet for the eight days of Hanukkah. Each student will write the recipient’s name on the first rectangle of the coupon book directly under the words “Hanukkah Coupons”. I suggest using a marker for the cover. Students will then write the recipient’s name on the top line, the service that he or she is willing to give (wash the dishes, walk the dog, make their bed, etc.)…and then each student will sign his or her name on the bottom of the coupon. Once all coupons are finished, students will cut them out. Students will place them together and staple them on the left side. You can choose to make it fancier by creating a hole punch and use curly ribbon to combine the coupons, or you could us a key ring. Students can create one coupon booklet for one family member…or they can make the booklet a family gift, and have different coupons in the booklet for different family members. If that’s the case, have them label the booklet _______ Family……or students can choose to create multiple booklets for different family members. The more writing and cutting practice the better! The last rectangle is for the end of the booklet. If you’d like to add some color, simply print them onto colored paper. Students can take these home and share with family member during their Hanukkah celebration.
