PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

My fourth grade team and I have rated this one of our all time favorite projects to do throughout the year! This is the perfect project to reinforce genre characteristics when it comes to reading mystery novels.

Students are asked to read a book within the mystery genre.
From there, they will create a large shape/object that represents something from the book (we recommend using poster board). There are six "hidden doors" that will need to be added to the poster. Behind the hidden doors, students will have to answer/complete six tasks that help other students become familiar with the book.

*You could assign this to be done in school, with a group, or as an individual project to be done at home.

Student directions, rubric, and examples are included!
