Product Description
Here is a PowerPoint presentation of paragraph response chapter questions made for the book by Joy Hakim, A History of Us: From Colonies to Country. This is the third of a ten volume series on US History. It is a Common Core Exemplar book for fifth grade. The book can be used as a class read aloud, a small group reading text, or as a whole class reading text. It provides a very in depth look at the period of US History involving the time period from 1735 through 1791. It covers the build up to the American Revolution through the writing of the Constitution.

Each chapter and featured section has a question slide that goes with it. The questions are geared for Common Core style paragraph writing responses. Each slide features a work of public domain art illustrating the chapter. These could also be printed out and then put into a literacy center dedicated to the book.
